The General Store at Friendly Market is a Division of Belfast Brewing Company used to test foods and products that will be incorporated in our hybrid Espresso Bar, Tea, Irish Pub and Brewery. Over the past two years, we have developed our own lines of whole bean coffees, loose leaf teas, coffee candles, gourmet candy, craft soda and commercial kitchen smallware. These include:

Bad Dog Coffee Company: Eight single source beans and four blends ranging African to Central and south American. We brew 3-4 types every day for sale by the cup and by the pound for $16.95 / lb. Need an espresso machine, we have tested and refurbished units at a fraction of the cost of a new machine. How about French presses, Chemex (pour overs) and stove pot Moka Pots.

The Great Southern Tea Company: Sixteen black and green teas from English Breakfast to Chai, Chamomile and Passion Fruit. We sell our teas in sealed glass jars that are filled at the store. If you bring the empty jar back for a refill we will give you a $1.00 discount. Looking for tea balls, tea pots and infusers … “We got ya covered!”

 

Coffee Candle Company: When you walk into the store, the wonderful aroma of coffee hits you. Everyone’s first thought is that it’s our brewed coffee. Partially … But a big part is the smell from our candles. They are made from soy wax and poured in commercial grade restaurant glassware. Once they are burned, wash then in soap and hot water and use them as cups and glasses.
